Britten-Norman Islander Captains

The Company is accepting resumes for pilot positions on its BN-2 Islander aircraft.

Our insurance company requires our BN-2 pilots have at least a Commercial Pilot Certificate, Multi-Engine Land with Instrument Rating;  and a minimum of 1200 hours total time with at least 500 hours logged in multi-engine land airplanes.

Since flights dispatch on two hour's notice, pilots must reside close enough to the Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport to meet Company (and Governmental) requirements which require flight crew report for duty one hour prior to departure for pre-flight planning and Homeland Security reporting purposes.

***BAGGAGE HANDLER/AIRCRAFT WASHER***

The Company is seeking an individual to perform three tasks:  weigh baggage, load and un-load aircraft, and wash aircraft in the Company fleet.  This individual must qualify for the issuance of a Broward County Aviation Department Airport ID Badge issued after a thorough background check, and abide by the provisions of the Company's FAA mandated Anti-Drug and Alcohol Misuse and Prevention Program.

This position is ideal for pilots who would like to fly for Island Air Charters, but don't meet the minimum requirements specified for a pilot position with the Company.  If you have a Commercial Pilot Certificate, Multi-Engine Land with Instrument Rating, the Company may allow you to fly its aircraft under the supervision of qualified line pilots on Part 91 (non-revenue) legs in exchange for loading and washing aircraft.
